From May 24-May 31, 2025 I experienced my first GPTC, which was the 20th in the great history. I got to be on a panel about “unconventional collaborations”, participated in workshops about using the Tarot to write and self-producing, had lunch while a panel about risk unfolded before me, accessed ten new plays and a full production of a 2022 GPTC playwright, told a tale at Stories of O (a long-running story-sharing event) and connected to a wide-ranging group of people who had all gathered for some kind of magic. I hope to return to the great plains again and again.
