?!:New Works is a very stunty and fun way to try something wild or untested, to connect to audiences that may not know your work and to meet a bunch of experimental artists working in different ways and mediums. It is a beautiful weed of a series that can grow anywhere, as constraints are part of the game.
A LOOK BACK AT THE FASCINATING HISTORY OF ?!:NEW WORKS
***2016***
In April 2016 Title:Point moved into the space beneath the loft in North Garage of The Silent Barn. The space had been CSAA Gallery for years and Title:Point had been invited to perform in the gallery many times by Lorissa Rinehart, as we had a small office in the loft.
When Lorissa decided to move on, Title:Point got approved to move in.
In order to learn about how non-Title:Point artists would use the space, we started ?!:New Works and did shows every night of April possible, cramming in and going wild.
This was the first bonkers line-up:
-April 3, 2016 was night one of ?!:New Works:
